AME provides specialised maintenance, repair and overhaul support for ARV WZT-3, ARV VT-72B and tracked mobility platforms operating in demanding workshop and operational environments.

Capability areas include platform overhaul, fault rectification, subsystem restoration, inspection, assembly/disassembly activities and lifecycle sustainment support for mission-critical mobility systems.

AME also supports subsystem integration, vehicle electronics, technical troubleshooting and workshop execution support for specialised defence and industrial mobility platforms.

Work follows a structured process of inspection, defect identification, repair planning, subsystem restoration, functional checks and technical documentation for a reliable return to service.

AME supports electrical architecture integration, subsystem interfacing and vehicle electronics implementation for specialised tracked and wheeled mobility platforms.

Capability areas include wiring harness integration, electrical troubleshooting, control system support, subsystem fitment and mission-specific vehicle integration activities for defence and industrial applications.

Technical support also includes diagnostics assistance, electrical rectification and workshop-level implementation support for specialised mobility systems.

Integration work is supported by interface assessment, harness routing, installation checks, diagnostic testing and configuration documentation, reducing implementation risk and simplifying future maintenance.

AME manufactures and integrates configuration-specific wire harnesses and cable assemblies for tracked recovery and mobility platforms, supported by controlled assembly, connector termination and electrical verification.

Carriage of ICV BMP by Tatra 8×8

  • Conventionally, tanks and ICVs are carried on a 50-ton trailer pulled by a Tatra 8×8 vehicle
  • An operational requirement arose to induct ICVs into high-altitude areas
  • Mountainous terrain restricted movement of the Tatra-trailer combination because of its turning radius
  • A reversible modification enabled safe piggyback carriage of the ICV BMP on the Tatra 8×8 without a trailer
  • For plains operations, the modified Tatra can ferry two AFVs in one movement
  • Operational induction time reduced by half
  • Extensive trials conducted successfully by the Army
  • No permanent modification to the equipment required
